Duck and Goose Hunting
157 Outfitters operates in the North Platte River valley in Southeast Wyoming. During the migration the river valley holds hundreds of thousands of ducks and geese. The warm water sloughs of the North Platte hold birds for the entirety of the season as they roost on the river and feed in corn and hay fields during the day. We run hunts from the first of December until the close of the season. Hunts will primarily be tailored for geese however ducks will be targeted if the correct conditions are present. Hunts will usually take place in heated underground pits placed in fields that accommodate up to 5 hunters at a time. We also offer opportunities to hunt the North Platte River itself during the first half of December.

What makes us different?
We believe in quality over quantity. We run limited groups of hunters on quality fields to make sure that pressure is kept to a minimum. We are also the only outfit that provides everything you need for a successful hunt. No need to worry about booking hotels, checking guns or finding ammo before your trip. At the end of the day all the birds are taken whole, processed, vacuum packed and returned to you so that you can enjoy the hunt and not worry about the headache of trying to stay legal cleaning federal migratory birds. We also run the biggest spreads in the area, oftentimes running over 1,000 decoys.
Rates & Bookings
All hunts include professional guiding,lodging, gun rental, ammo and bird processing by a federally licensed operation. Meals and gratuity are not included.

$2300 per gun 3 day / 4 night
$1800 per gun 2 day / 3 night
Due to last minute cancellations, in order to book dates a 50% deposit is required. Dates will not be reserved until a deposit is received. Due to Wyoming regulations, geese can only be hunted after 1 pm on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Therefore we highly recommend attempting to include some of those days into your booking.
We understand that sometimes things come up and parties may have to cancel. Refunds will only be given if severe weather makes travel completely impossible. We will do our very best to move parties around to a different date as available to accommodate a necessary change once a deposit is received. With 3 months or more notice a deposit can be rolled over to the next year if a group needs to cancel for any reason.
Lodging
We operate 2 private lodges on the bank of the North Platte River in Lingle Wyoming . The main lodge is 3,500 sq ft and can accommodate up to 6 hunters at a time. The secondary lodge is equipped to handle groups of up to 4 hunters. Only one group of hunters will be booked into each lodge at a time. Both lodges are equipped with wifi, full kitchens, entertainment systems and bbq grills. Numerous restaurants, grocery stores and bars are located within a 10 minute drive of the lodges.

There are two airports conveniently located within driving distance of the lodge. Denver International Airport is a 3 hour drive from the lodge. Scottsbluff regional airport is a connecting flight from Denver and is a 45 minute ride from the lodge. Rental cars are available at both locations.
